More than 700 frothing groms have taken part in our Woolworths SurfGroms Kids Holiday and Weekend programs at Trigg Beach over summer, with a big spread of returning and new students sharing the joy of surfing.
Surfing WA Surf School Manager, Matt Wilson, said it’s been incredible to watch their transformation over the last 6 weeks.
“Some of these kids have never tried surfing before so it’s been epic to see the big smiles on their faces when they catch a wave,” Matt said. “Stoke levels have been at an all-time high and we’ve had some great feedback from the kids and parents alike!
“I’d like to thank the parents, grandparents, family and friends for bringing the groms to their lessons, and a special shout out to our coaches for keeping the energy levels high and making it such a success.”
